Amazing!! One of the most superb surprises ever. I was watching and felt from how beyond flawless it was that Ron Howard might be directing and sure enough he was. He deserves more credit as one of the greatest directors of our time. He could easily be my favorite and I never really thought of him being a contender! To parallel this movie.
See this movie. You get to experience the Depression without having to stay there, and the performances.. Everything about this movie had me so emotionally connected it was unbelievable. This is going in my favorites. And I must see all of Ron Howard's films now no questions asked. He must've got all kindsa robbed at the Oscars by Crash and Brokeback that year. Those were good but not as impressive.
