Russel Crowe depicts the story of real life boxer from the great depression era James Braddock. The movie outlines his struggles to raise his family, and well as comeback from his injuries to revive his boxing career.
Crowe acted well in this Cinderella/underdog story, but the film really does not throw any unexpected punches either.
