Review of Cinderella (2015) by David D — 08 Nov 2015
This version from director Kenneth Branagh is well made, just not really my type of movie. For me, these Disney live action remakes lose a lot of the charm of their counterparts. Cate Blanchett did an excellent job of making her character multi-dimensional, and newcomer Lily James was good.
Worth a watch if you like the genre, otherwise skip it.
