This remarkable film, Cinderella (2015), is the only live action film, that captured the purpose of the remake. In this film the director and producers stuck to the main idea of Cinderella, with picking the right actresses and actors to play the characters. They also made sure that it didn't look like it was just thrown together overnight, with the sets and costumes. When the actresses and actors where picked they were picked to the roles and that they weren't just going to ship in the bare minimum, the lived the role of their character. They set the model for the rest of the live action films of the original Disney classics.

In the making of a live action film, the director and producers must make sure that the main idea and plot are kept the same throughout the film. In the Cinderella film, they keep all of the characters and roles the same. They also keep the order of the events in the same order. If the events where put into the wrong order, the film would not be Cinderella, it would be the life of Cinderella. In this 2015 film one event or scene was added, that was not in the original film, the scene where the step-mother and step-sisters change her name from Ella to Cinderella. The reasoning behind the changing of her name is, that night before Cinderella slept in the cinders of the fire to keep warm. This changed it from Ella to Cinderella.

The one scene that captures the reasoning, was the one scene at the ball. The ball was the scene that cost the most, and took the longest to film and create. The ballroom alone was built piece by piece, and everything in the ballroom set is real, including the candles that are hanging above them while they are dancing. There was 25,000 candles, that had to be hand lit before the shooting of the scene. All of the floor boards, walls and door are made and put into place, to create the amazing ballroom.

The one costume that surprises all is the ballroom gown worn by Cinderella. There was a lot to be said about the dress. One of the costume designers said, "The ball gown used over 10,000 Swarovski crystals and 500 hours to complete with 20 tailors working." Also said, "Sewn with four miles of thread the dress seems to move effortlessly, float gracefully with every step the princess takes." Even the actress Lily James said, "that she felt like she was living out every little girl's dream, she felt like the princess she always wanted to be as a little girl." According to another costume designer, it took Lily James 45 minutes to get in and out of the dress. That is such a long time to get into one dress.

The one scene that the director and producers made a mistake on was the scene where Cinderella was making her dress, for the ball. In the original 1950 film the mice and birds helped her collect the things that were needed, and they helped Cinderella make the dress. In the live action film, Cinderella was making it alone and the mice were under the table, and there were no birds. This created that one thing that people can go back and say that it messed up the whole film. This can also make it hard for the little girls watching feel that Cinderella is alone and feel bad for Cinderella.

One thing that some of the other live action films don't have, that Cinderella had was the big budget. This helped with casting, the building of the sets, the costumes, and much other things. This helps the casting because they can pay the actresses or actors that they want and maybe have to pay more for. Helping with building the sets and costumes is a big thing that deals with the budget. If there isn't a big budget then the sets and costumes wont look real and that they wouldn't be as nice as when there is a bigger budget. Having the bigger budget helps with the little details that need to put in, and also having the extra hands to help it go faster and smoother.

The acting in this film, and the way the actresses and actors take on their roles as the characters is truly amazing. During the scene where Ella became Cinderella, Lily James took on the part, when Cinderella runs away from the table and drops the plate and sees herself and starts to cry is truly outstanding. Another thing that Lily James does amazingly is the fact that her diet changed so that "Cinderella" would have a smaller waist for he film, and that it would look like as if her step-mother and step-sisters did not leave any food afterwards, and also that Lily James did this so that there would be more of an amazement of her in the ballroom dress. The audience would forget that it is a film and think that it is real from the amazing acting done in this movie.

This certain film, has changed the way the film audience thinks of live action films. This film has set the standards of creating a live action film, by showing directors and producers around the world the things that need to be keep the same order of events, make sure the actresses and actors step into the role, and that they have the money to make sure that everything in the live action film, looks and feels like the original film.
