Morose post-apocalpytic drama centering on five survivors who amass inside a mountain-top cabin and attempt to begin life anew. Both the epilogue and prologue contain quotes from the Bible, with the flick acting as a new Adam and Eve analogy - but who gets Eve, is the question.
Bleak, without a stitch of levity, this Hammer offering is played straight, as it reveals the horrors of man both en masse - and as individuals. ***/5*.
