Review of Churchill (2017) by Film B — 07 Feb 2018
A poor film full of inaccuracies ad continuity errors. The film gives the impression that Churchill was in ineffective bumbling idiot and the day was only saved by the Americans.
The director was Australian and it is obvious rom the subtext running through the film, that he blames Churchill for Australian losses at Gallipoli in WW1 ad takes this opportunity to ridicule the man. Watch for the cars which change model and features as they drive along, artefacts and styles that did not exist in 1944 and radio speeches that were never actually made. Surely when these are matter of public record, the author could at least get these right.
