Sure it's trifle, but it's also the greatest unimportant movie ever made and a perfect cure for the alienated and melancholy among us. Acting seems to come so natural for Faye Wong here unlike most of her other efforts on screen.
And the soundtrack fits like a glove as always with Wong Kar Wai.
