Review of Chungking Express (1994) by Cong Han L — 07 Aug 2008
A very moody first story makes way for a brilliant lighthearted comedy, which mixes in usual WKW themes into a more buoyant framework where every character, every lover is a joy to watch. Probably my second favorite Wong Kar Wai film.
And Faye Wong is simply lovely.
