Review of Chungking Express (1994) by Hanajun C — 18 Dec 2008
I can't believe this film was made in 1994! While this movie is based on the French NW INFLUENCE, it carries its own quirky and eccentric story around a Chinese backdrop. In my opinion, this surpasses many indie films released in the past few years.
Fans of QT should get the rolling thunder edition, since he provides an introduction and an interesting lecture after the film.
This is a film made for lovers of all kind.
