Apparently, Quentin Taratino is a huge fan of Chungking Express. He helped to intoduce the film and it's director, Wong Kar Wai , years ago to North American audiences through a now defunct video label of his that was called Rolling Thunder.
Chungking Express was launched as the video label's inaugeral release.
