Review of Chungking Express (1994) by Raelene L — 20 Aug 2009
There is nothing that I dislike about this film. The two love stories of the film are somewhat easy to relate to in so many different ways, and I think that is one thing that drew me into this film. The visual imagery and cinematography of this film, in true WKW spirit was outstanding.
Christopher Doyle and his vision for the film's cinematography - brilliant. Music-wise, I enjoyed the leitmotif (much like In The Mood For Love, but here it isn't as emphasised and used) carried out through the film, and the general use of music.
There is too much about this film for me to praise...
