Review of Chungking Express (1994) by Wendy S — 05 Oct 2010
One of Wong Kar Wai's lighter and funnier films and one of my favourites. Similar themes of romance, longing and loneliness in a busy and bustling city are explored but in a traditionally more digestible style.
As always with Wong's films the visual style and texture of the film is reason enough to see it, the two likeable love stories are just a bonus.
