Review of Chungking Express (1994) by Ayon C — 14 Apr 2011
I enjoyed this a lot though not quite as much as "In the Mood for Love". It had a wonderful soundtrack and Wong's trademark romanticism. There are lots of off kilter quirky compositions but they work here.
The director is a deft enough hand to use camera angles that are striking but don't draw attention to themselves in a look at me kind of way.
