Review of Chungking Express (1994) by Waseq A — 13 Jul 2011
Loved both stories and was pretty much glued to the screen as they unfolded. They're both about trying to capture a moment in time and not letting go once it's over. There's lots of themes and personal directorial choices here that are similar--if not totally the same--as in the other Wong Kar Wai film I've seen "In the Mood for Love.
