Chronicle surprised me a lot. It started off a little iffy with some plot issues and it was annoying how, for convenience, the superhero levitated cameras in every shot so the whole film would be found footage,, however, soon enough, it became one of the most exciting and deep films I've seen in a while.
It combines genres really well and looks into a lot of stuff. The action is awesome and, although I would have written it a bit differently, I don't think my way would have turned out as effective as Landis'.
A great and zeitgeisty movie that entertains thoroughly.
