Like many other found footage movies that AREN'T horror films, Chronicle could have been a lot better without the shaky camerawork. It's just not needed. Nevertheless, it's still a ton of fun with a creepy performance from Dane DeHaan.
What's surprised me most was the film's brutal but truthful depiction of high school bullying. Very well-done.
