Review of Christopher Robin (2018) by John S — 04 Aug 2018
This movie is incredible. The story of Christopher Robin & his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood, all the way from childhood to adulthood, is one filled with relevant lessons on life today, especially for adults.
I was laughing & in tears. Pooh is a very wise teacher & I think we're all Christopher Robin, starting in the Hundred Acre Wood, somewhere along the line losing our way, then coming back home, to even greater happiness than when we were there the first time.
It's almost like the story of the Prodigal Son. Pooh is like the father, in that no matter how the son (Christopher Robin) treats him & runs away, he always waits for him to come back. When he finally does, he's even happier to see him & welcomes him with open arms.
Go see this movie, and when you leave the theater, live this movie. :).
