Disney certainly has a choke-hold around Tim Allen and keeps insisting that he be the family man in some pretty bad movies. This is no "Santa Clause" but it was entertaining. There were a few laughs, and would probably watch this movie again around Christmas, but it is not at all a year-round classic like "Christmas Vacation.
