Review of Christmas with the Kranks (2004) by August C — 19 Dec 2011
I would never usually recommend a film with a Paul Ross quote on the cover of the DVD; however, Christmas with the Kranks is a hilariously entertaining view of how breaking Christmas traditions can go terribly wrong.
Based on John Grisham's novel Skipping Christmas, Christmas with the Kranks is indeed a clichéd and predictable yuletide tale; nonetheless, this is a old-fashioned, merry string of mishaps, that will have you laughing even of the Frostiest of evenings.
You'd have to be a Scrooge not to crack a smile.
