Review of Christmas Evil (1980) by Scott S — 14 Dec 2009

A very bizarre, but not uninteresting movie. Once you get past the fact that it's not like other Christmas themed Horror movies you may find much to like. It's creepy, well shot, has a couple good performances, a fantastic score, and is at least an interesting attempt at a character study.

Where it fails is in pacing, writing, characters to root for, and the ending, which is just stupid. A cult classic it is not, but worth a look if you want something different.
