If you want to laugh your hind end off while watching a horror move, this one's for you! Seriously, the best description I ever heard of this movie was that it was the dark side of the Herbie movies.
The movie is about an introverted nerd named Arnie who happens upon and old Plymouth Fury, buys it, and fixes it up. Harmless right? Wrong! It turn out the car has a soul living in it and starts taking all the people that matter to Arnie so the car can have him for itself.
The dialogue is laughable and the best performance in the film is by the car. Hydraulics were used to show the car repairing itself and other things. Poor Stephen King sees another one of his novels turned into a bad movie.
It's not offensive as much as laughable.
