Review of Christine (1983) by George B — 06 Dec 2009

Very well made movie. It took me a while to get around to watching this because the whole 'killer car' thing didn't appeal to me, but this film is much more than that. It's actually about a dorky boy who buys an old car with a mind of it's own and his intense obsession with the vehicle that ultimately sent him in a downward spiral that changed him into a person he wasn't and alienated him from loved ones.

The acting was great and John Carpenter just did a wonderful job overall with this adaptation.
