Review of Christine (1983) by Miranda J — 27 Mar 2009
Christine is an excellent adaptation of the Stephen King novel of the same name by John Carpenter. The music, always one of Carpenter's strong points, serves to drive the scenery forward and the direction is top-notch.
The performances, especially from Keith Gordon and John Stockwell are also extremely good and the overall atmosphere of the film is quite creepy. This film generally flies under most people's radar but it is certainly worth a watch as it is an excellent example of John Carpenter's work.
