Review of Christine (1958) by Bradley W — 29 Jan 2014
Not the best adaptation of a King novel, but definitely not the worst. An entertaining film, but low on scares unless you have a phobia of cars. Definitely not King's cheesiest work (see "Maximum Overdrive", another film about machines with minds of their own) or Carpenter's (see "They Live" and "Ghosts of Mars").
No big acting turns, but none disappointing either. Worth a look.
