I really liked this, and not just because of David Bowie (which is why I rented it in the first place I admit). The story was heartbreaking and the scenes of drug withdrawal are realistic enough to scare a young teenager into not doing drugs.
Bleak, stark and frighteningly real, Christiane F. is well worth the rental price.
