Review of Chris Rock: Bigger & Blacker (1999) by William L — 27 Dec 2007
Good if you like Chris Rock (obviously). I do like him and not only is he funny, but he also has some really good thoughts about society. For example: he suggests making every bullet cost $5000 so that no one would kill anyone that didn't REALLY deserve it.
Funny thought, but also kind of a good idea. He does simple humor too. It's the best of both worlds really. His delivery is what makes most of his jokes work, not to mention that this crowd has got to be one of the most responsive crowds to ever attend a stand-up show.
My favorite moment: "What's two plus two? Jell-O." Watch it and you'll see what I mean.
