Review of Chopper (2012) by Andrew D — 08 Apr 2010
Stylish, funny, superbly shot, edited, and paced character study of a pathetic, obnoxious, deceitful, complex, narcissistic, charming, insecure, unpredictably violent, borderline sociopathic, fascinating individual. Mark "Chopper" Read is someone that always has to have an audience - an attention whore. He is shockingly violent and psychopathic one moment, remorseful and human the next. Eric Bana is amazing and unrecognizable. I didn't want it to end, at 90 minutes it felt like there could've been more story and insight.
8.5/10.
