Full of creative energy and fresh ideas, Dominik's debut feature is as violent, two-faced, and charming as its main character. Chopper is a "bullshit artist," and since the film is based on his autobiographies, it too becomes cloudy, examining the ways in which truth and fiction are mixed and manipulated in the history of our pop culture.
