Review of Chopper (2000) by Matthew T — 23 Dec 2008
Blackly funny Aussie movie about a murderer with a gift of the gab and a sense of his own publicity - it's genuinely funny enough that the violence doesn't seem gratuitous like in other flicks of the genre.
An incredible performance by Eric Bana justifiably brought him to the attention of Tinseltown. "Oh, I'm sorry... was I being rude?"... A cult classic in our Greenleys house.
