Absolutely brilliant performance from eric bana in an absolutely brilliant and brilliantly insane film from andrew dominik, who with just two films is already one of my favorite directors. this isnt quite as solemn and meditative as assassination of jesse james.
.. it's brutal, darkly hilarious, and deeply in tune with the unhinged viewpoint of it's protagonist.
