Review of Chopper (2000) by Toke E — 17 May 2009
A really decent film. It hinges upon Bana's ability to make 'Chopper' likeable - despite being a psychotic, violent criminal. Thankfully Bana pulls this off and the result is a very good movie.
Being only 90 minutes long, the pace is maintained throughout as you are taken on a exhilirating and shocking journey through Marc Read's life - or a dramatisation of it.
Well worth watching - as long as you don't mind a bit of gore and violence.
