Review of Chopper (2000) by Adam T — 13 Dec 2009
A bit uncohesive for some, but biographically it perfectly engages with dark humour, wit & shock factor much like it's Aussie gangster subject and almost voyeuristic in it's reflection of a remarkable, if morally debatable legend with a powerhouse debut from Eric Bana whose possessesion of that subtle, mentally compromised intensity behind the eyes counts as to just one of the reasons his finest performance is above and beyond simple impersonation!
