Review of Chopper (2000) by Paul Z — 04 Feb 2011
To look back on this film will give Eric Bana all the motivation he needs to now allow middle-age to get the better of him physically. He looks terrible, but perfect for the part of Mark 'Chopper' Read. His own unique style added so much to this movie which would have been nothing without that. The scene where he remains unconcerned despite being repeatedly stabbed by his best friend is epic. Definitely the only Australian-made film I've ever seen that can compete with those of other film industries.
6.5/10.
