Review of Chop Shop (2008) by Ty H — 08 Dec 2008
Drives you head first into a big wall of gritty realism. alejandro is a street-wise homeless kid. he fends for himself, making money as he can - in any way he can - and has plans for him and his sister to escape to florida and into some semblance of a normal, healthy life. but, sadly, that's not the way the world works.
Excellent acting by these young kids.
Certainly not a action-filled film, but I still couldn't tear myself away.
