Review of Chop Shop (2008) by Edward V — 17 May 2009
A total observation piece... no real plot to speak of, no climax - just the observation of two hard-luck, independent, street-smart kids who are older than their years. As proven in the film, however, they're still kids with aspects of naivete showing through their hard exteriors.
Great performances by the two leads, and all of the other non-actors in the film.
