Review of Chop (2011) by Brian S — 27 Sep 2012
Interestingly twisted but somewhat lacking revenge-horror/dark comedy. A former bad guy is abducted and slowly dismembered by a mysterious man who wants him to remember the wrong the bad guy (Lance) did to him.
Along the way, Lance recalls some other misdeed, and his abductor calls in the victims to take some revenge of their own. A couple of funny moments ensue, but the laughs don't make up for a rather lackluster ending.
Lead actor Will Kennan is pretty good, though at times he seems to be trying very hard to be Robert Downey. The rest of the cast is passable. Entertaining enough, though nothing special.
