Review of Choke (2008) by Gonçalo A — 24 Apr 2009
Not as brilliant as the book but still a good effort. Rockwell is simply amazing. Huston is solid. Macdonald lacks. But at the end the real true star is Chuck Palahniuk's book and his relentless, original and funny way of telling a story.
Unfortunately the movie is directed (and written for the screen) by a fanboy rather then a director. Makes one wonder what would Fincher do.
