Review of Choke (2008) by Mathias B — 08 Aug 2009

I liked he theme of this movie. In my eyes, it wasn't about the choking, but what was behind it (which is actually obvious, but hang on with me). It was about lying to get what you wanted. It was about lying to both parties, yourself and the other, and at the same time trying to make the result good for both.

I probably wont see the movie again, which isn't a bad sign, but more like saying: The story had its one giant twist, and without that, it wouldn't really have worked. Which is good, twists are awesome, but it just means that you know how it will turn out, if you watch it again, and you wont get the same satisfaction.

Anyways, a good movie all and all.
