Working from eccentric material of Chuck Palahniuk's novel, "Choke" held great promises. Yet, even though the acting performances from the cast that included Sam Rockwell and Anjelica Huston were strong, the film had a production quality to it that made it very B-list and forgettable.
It never pushes itself out of the boundaries of a bizarre plot, leaving an impression of a very half-hearted job.
