Review of Choke (1971) by Bobby L — 26 Nov 2009
Amazing acting from Rockwell and an oddball black comedy that isn't for everyone, but if you can get into it's pretty worth it. I feel like if I talk about the plot I'd give something away, but there is one amazing scene where he's talking to his mom's nurse and he discovers something, his response is utterly great.
Also, this a muriel being painted throughout that has some good closure. Not quite perfect as it shifts a little wildly in tone a few times, and not everything is as clear as it should be, but still good.
