Review of Choke (1971) by Simon W — 15 Feb 2010
Choke is entertaining, crude, and witty, the only problems is that like having many qualities it also has flaws. The major problem with the film is just like the novel it goes in to many directions which kind of muddle the plot and then the film sort of just ends and you're let feeling nothing.
Regardless Sam Rockwell makes the picture work by being believable as the lead, the rest are well casted and the direction is above average.
