Review of Choke (1971) by Adam C — 04 Jun 2012
Not bad. Not good. Kind of mixed on this one. Sam Rockwell was OK. This wasn't a, "Wow. He really did a great job because I had low expectations for him" movie. He was amazing in "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind," and "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.
" He was so-so in this film. Anjelica Huston delivered a strong performance as you wanted to hate her character in flashbacks and feel sympathetic toward her character in the present. But, then again, the daughter of Hollywood royalty never disappoints.
