Review of Chocolat (2000) by Lynn W — 16 Dec 2010
I spent one afternoon reading the script, almost a year after seeing the actual movie. While reading it I remembered how gorgeous the film was and how good it made me feel. I know all too well that the point of film-making isn't to make people feel good, but when that actually happens, the movie must have more than a couple of things going for it.
Soon, hopefully, I'll re-watch this and put down all those points. I'm sure I'll include interesting characters, wonderful story, amazing visuals and the incredible atmosphere it presented.
Right now I'm tempted to put - delicious as the word that best describes this movie (I'm such a cliche).
