Review of Chocolat (2000) by Russell F — 08 Nov 2011
Chocolat is a charming experience about tolerance and love that is full of delightful surprises. Director Lasse Hallstrom manages to create and sustain an elegant timelessness that is all too rare in contemporary cinema.
With a great cast Chocolat is as agreeably sweet as advertised, with a particularly yummy performance by Juliette Binoche.
