At one time I kind of liked Dax Shepard as a comedian. "CHIPS" however, casts some serious doubt on his writing and directing talents. Besides the argument that this is an unwanted and unneeded rehash of an old tv show, the film is just plain bad.

Nothing works here. The juvenile and trashy jokes are simply unfunny, and the plot has no depth of character or eben the slightest interesting elements. This is an early candidate for the years worst film.
