I grew up watching Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers, and imagining a Who Framed Roger Rabbit style sequel got me all excited. Overall...it's fine. It is a massive nostalgia trip filled with tons of visual memberberries and very light on substance.
Ugly Sonic was awesome. It's a rollercoaster of boredom and references. I have a lot of issues with the animation, it looks bad most of the time. The decision to use all CGI animation is understandable, but it looks cheap and so many characters don't interact with the world well at all.
The casting choices were kinda off as well, but I was happy to hear Gadget's voice actor was still the fantastic Tress MacNeille.
