Review of Chinese Coffee (2000) by Dave K — 31 Dec 2008
Great performances from both main characters. The viewer cares about the two men and certainly isn't bored by the fact that the movie is completely dialogue-based and essentially takes place in one room.
I don't think anyone thought Pacino could be dominated in a dialogue scene by any other actor, but it happens in Chinese Coffee. Of course, the entire conversation is a sort of power struggle. I recommend this one.
