Review of Chinatown (1974) by Liz — 30 Jan 2011
Roman Polanski's Tour-De-Force. With Jack Nicholson, Faye Dunaway, and some seriously fantastic writing on his side there is nothing that Polanski cannot create. This dazzling feature of human nature, and real relationships is nothing short of excellent.
The deep nature of the film, along with the decadently written plot, keep eyes glued to the screen, and as the battle of wits continues, there is nothing more intriguing in the world. A beautiful motion picture that needs no words to describe it, it speaks for itself.
