Review of Chinatown (1974) by Cora D — 27 Aug 2012
Chinatown is timeless. Even though it is set in the uncertain times of the 70's, this movie never seems to age. To watch Faye Dunaway and young Jack Nicholson on screen together is a real treat. Dunaway plays the mysterious, striking widow and Nicholson plays the witty and aggressive detective trying to solve her deceased husbands death and the evil plot behind it.
Chinatown is slow, but it's beautifully crafted.
