I really should watch more, older Jack Nicholson movies. He hasn't always just played some variation of himself! Who knew? I really like period-pieces and this one has it all. Plus it appeals to my political sensibilities, although it's probably a bit more pessimistic than I.
All in all, a really sharp, entertaining and engaging film with outstanding performances from the cast, especially Jack. A-.
